Solo is the SCCA brand name for autocross competition. Solo events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handlingcharacteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated bytraffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip.

Helments.
TAMSCC provides loaner helments. It's best to get your own so that you don't have to share with each other. HERE is a website that sells helments as well as other saftey devices.

Leaving Bowers stadium Parking lot @ 7AM precisely.

We will stop for food and gas at approximately 7:30A at the Valero Corner Store #541 in Roans Prarie, TX at the corner of TX-30 and TX-90 for fuel, and whatever nick-nacks, and breakfast or hydration items you may need. This will also give stragglers a chance to catch-up.

Bring a helmet if you have one, make sure your car is in fully operational order. This will be a test of your cars limits in a safe, controlled environment. If your car is not up to the task of performing daily operation, it is absolutely not suited for autocross.

TAMSCC has many instructors, if this will be your first time please seek out yellow shirts and ask for ride-alongs.

Autocrosses typically end around 2-330p, and they have unlimited fun-runs for $1 after the event. Dinner will normally be had in College Station at establishments such as Chicken Oil, Laynes, Wings N More etc.

These events are a great time and hope to see you there!

Round Three! Can't wait for this event! Round two was amazing! Now that I've had practice I think I can do better! My faster time was 72 Seconds....I plan on getting in the low 60's (or some time comparable depending on length of track)

Normally the courses will be completely irrelevant to one another. Find a class your car fits in, STAY IN THAT CLASS and use PAX in relation to TTOD to guage if you're getting faster or not.
